Legacy Defender Mk3 (Wrapped)

The Defender Mk3 (Wrapped) features our Collet Lock Blade System, the most rigid and secure blade retention system on the planet. 

The Collet Lock Blade System requires no set screws and uses standard blades, it provides 360 degrees of clamping force on the blade resulting in far better blade retention than traditional short blade sockets with set screws.

The Defender Mk2 has a flange style emitter with details grooves and accent holes on its face. The emitter transitions into an elegant thin neck accented by a grooved ring. The body section features detail rings on either side of a leather wrapped grip which terminates in a low profile pommel. 

Collet Lock Blade System: A collet is a machined metal sleeve with slits that compresses to securely hold a cylinder when two housings are threaded together, it was developed for high speed machining where retention of cylindrical metal bits under extremely high torque and speed is required. We took the tried and true concept of a machining collet and adapted it to work with polycarbonate blades. Simply unthread the emitter cap a few turns to loosen the collet, slide the blade into the blade holder, then thread the emitter cap down snugly to tighten the collet down onto the blade.

This saber is not compatible with drop-in electronics.
